Dr. Shelley Hynes is a distinguished and award-winning harpist based in Dalkey, Co. Dublin, with over 15 years of professional experience.

Classically trained, she has performed internationally with leading ensembles, most recently completing two seasons (2024–2025) with the Hounslow Symphony Orchestra in London. Performing as a harpist in some of the most prestigious venues in London, she has captivated audiences with her artistry and versatility.

Equally at home in both classical and traditional Irish music, Shelley has competed nationally in traditional harp competitions and maintains a diverse repertoire spanning classical masterworks, Celtic traditions, and contemporary arrangements.

Her career highlights include performances at the BBC Proms and the Jubilee celebrations of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. With a specialist focus on private and bespoke events, Shelley brings a unique blend of artistry and elegance, creating memorable musical experiences for audiences worldwide.
